In this recipe, I’ll show you how to make this super crispy vegan Puff Pastry Pizza. This recipe is perfect if you’re looking for a vegan homemade pizza that can be made in no time.
How to make a pizza crust with Puff Pastry Sheets?
The puff pastry pizza crust is super easy to make and so delicious. You can make the pizza as large or small as you like. First, let the puff pastry sheets thaw for 10 minutes. When the puff pastry sheets have become soft you can remove the foil and place each sheet on a tray with baking paper.
Press the edges of the sheets together to make one big sheet. You can use your hands to press the sheets together. Next, draw a line around the edge of the pizza with a knife. This part won’t be covered with sauce.
Add your favorite toppings!
This wouldn’t be a pizza without the tomato sauce. I used a homemade sauce that was leftover from a different recipe. But you can also buy a pizza sauce. If you would like to make a sauce you can check out my vegan tomato sauce recipe.
Spread the tomato sauce inside the line that you drew with the knife. I also added a bunch of vegan cheese. You can use any vegan cheese that you like.
I also added mushrooms. If you want to add mushrooms just make sure you slice the mushrooms a little thicker. You can also add any other toppings you like.
How to bake the Puff Pastry Pizza?
Bake the pizza for 20-25 minutes at 220°C. If the part with the tomato sauce and toppings is still soft you’ll have to bake the pizza a little longer.
